At its October 2008 meeting, the board members of the Daughters of Charity Foundation of St. Louis made the following changes to currently existing funding guidelines:

• Within the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention focus area, programs for At-Risk Teenagers may serve middle school, as well as high school, students.
• The In-Home/Respite Support Services category was divided into two discrete categories: In-Home Support Services and Respite Support Services.
• Within the Seniors Living Independently focus area, a new category on Adult Day Care/Respite was added.
