Daughters of Charity Foundation of St. Louis
History

For over 150 years the Daughters of Charity provided holistic healthcare in the St. Louis area addressing needs of the sick, the poor, the vulnerable. In 1995, to continue this commitment, the Daughters of Charity Foundation of St. Louis (DCFSL) was established. Since its inception, the foundation has focused on health and wellness education, primary and preventive health care and social services. More than 400 agencies have been funded with over $22 million in grants.

In 2005, the Daughters of Charity Foundation  of St. Louis Board, through a Strategic Direction process, began to focus funding concentrating on support of  agencies which provide services for child abuse and neglect prevention, seniors living independently and dental services.

DCFSL strives to provide assistance and work with those who likewise desire to embrace the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.
